High School of Koroni, Greece


Our town

Koroni is a coastal town, in the region of Messinia, located in the south of Peloponnese, 52 km kilometers away from Kalamata.

By 2001 its population had reached the number of 1.668 inhabitants.

It is a town full of historical monuments. The most well-known are theVenetian Castle of Koroni and the church dedicated to Panagia Eleistria below the castle in a palm tree grove.

Last but not least, it is surrounded by a large number of beautiful beaches and it can be characterized as an ideal holiday destination.

Our school

75 students attend high school of Koroni.

Our school consists of 5 main classrooms, a

science laboratory, a computer room and

one amphitheater. Ιt also has a small library

where we host our chess and photography

clubs. In the exterior, it has a basketball

and a volleyball court and a couple of

benches as well. Moreover our yard

encompasses a second covered basketball

court that is used as a gym too.
