CEIP San Martín De Tours is a school in San Martín de Valdeiglesias (Spain) that has a Spanish-English bilingual education program. It is attended by students aged 3-12.
The first contacts between our school and CEIP San Martin De Tours took place on the E-Twinning platform in the 2021-2022 school year. CEIP San Martín De Tours was looking for a school for job-shadowing activities on the use of digital technology, while our school was looking for a school for job-shadowing activities on CLIL methodology.
In the 2022-2023 school year our school hosted teachers and pupils from CEIP San Martín De Tours in 4 mobility flows for job-shadowing activities on the use of digital technology in the classroom.
In June 2025, after the accreditation, 6 of our teachers (2 from nursery, 2 from primary and 2 from secondary school) went on mobility to San Martín de Valdeiglesias. Here they observed teaching and learning activities at CEIP San Martín De Tours , at a nursery school, Escuela Infantil EL OLIVAR, and at a secondary school, IES Pedro de Tolosa. Besides they visited San Martín de Valdeiglesias and its castle, as well Madrid, the capital city of Spain. Finally they took part in the last days of school events: a book fair, a market for the students' families, a clown show and water games.

Sì, ritengo che per valorizzare ulteriormente le future esperienze di mobilità Erasmus sia utile promuovere una pianificazione più mirata delle attività da svolgere all'estero, in modo da favorire un reale scambio di buone pratiche tra istituzioni. Inoltre, sarebbe auspicabile incentivare maggiormente il coinvolgimento attivo dei partecipanti anche prima e dopo la mobilità, per esempio attraverso incontri preparatori o momenti di condivisione dell’esperienza al rientro. Infine, suggerisco di facilitare la creazione di reti internazionali stabili, per trasformare la mobilità in opportunità di collaborazione continua e progettualità condivise.
Yes, I think that in order to further enhance future Erasmus mobility experiences, it is useful to promote more targeted planning of activities to be carried out abroad, in order to foster a real exchange of good practices between institutions. Furthermore, it would be desirable to further encourage the active involvement of participants even before and after the mobility, for example through preparatory meetings or moments of sharing the experience upon return. Finally, I suggest facilitating the creation of stable international networks, to transform mobility into opportunities for continuous collaboration and shared planning.
