Below, you will find a list of all systems and software used by students at ISS. In most cases, the only information uploaded to the service is the student Name, Email Address and Graduating year. However, in some core services such as iSAMS and Schools Buddy, more information is stored.

These services are key to the schools core functions. They store a range of core student and parent data and are not necessarily tied to a student's Google account.Â

Onelogin is the identity provider enabling single sign-on access for staff and students to essential services, including iSAMS, Google, Visma, Office 365, and SchoolsBuddy.
Unifrog is a university application management system that helps Grade 11 and 12 students explore courses and streamline and manage their application processes.
Turnitin is a plagiarism checker used in the High School to review IB Extended Essays and other written assignments.
ManageBac is an IB management software used by students in Grades 11 and 12. It allows for efficient planning of assessments, tracking of progress, and submission of reports for those enrolled in the IB Diploma program.
SchoolsBuddy is a comprehensive platform for managing co-curricular activities, off-site trips, permission slips, bus bookings, and communication, designed to streamline these processes for students, parents, and school staff.
iSAMS is our core management system that stores all student and parent data, facilitates report generation and distribution to parents, and provides timetabling and communication tools. As the central repository for school data, it plays a vital role in managing and streamlining key administrative processes.Â
Britannica School is a comprehensive database offering access to reference articles, magazines, and other research resources, all available online for students.
Google Workspace tools like Drive, Gmail, Docs, and Google Classroom support learning and communication across the school.
Destiny is the online catalog that allows students to easily access all ISS library books. They can browse the collection, check out books, and receive reminders for when it's time to return them.
GL Assessment consists of standardised assessments used in High School to measure students' achievement and track their progress throughout the year.
Seesaw is a student and parent engagement tool used from Pre-School to Grade 3. It tracks student progress and learning, providing a platform to share updates with parents.
LibGuides are research tools designed to support students by offering structured resources and guides tailored to specific topics or fields of study.
Oxford English Testing is the program used across the school’s EAL (English as an Additional Language) curriculum to assess students' English proficiency levels both before and during their participation in the program.
Raz-Kids is a reading and e-book program designed for Primary School students, providing a wide range of interactive reading materials.
The McGraw Hill Maths Curriculum program in the Primary School is an online platform that provides digital versions of the textbooks given to students.
Apple software is installed on devices supporting the school’s 1:1 technology program, along with Apple School Manager for streamlined device management.
MAP Growth tests are used to track students' academic progress, measuring their achievement both throughout the year and across multiple years.
PaperCut Hive allows students and staff to release print jobs from any printer across the school using their email address or print code. Additionally, the scan feature on school photocopiers enables documents to be scanned directly to a student's Google Drive.
Jamf mobile device management is used to administrate iOS and MacOS devices across the school, providing key features such as device enrolment, anti-theft protection, and the JAMF Safe Internet tool to ensure safe browsing.
These third-party services support staff and students with learning and teaching. Students' basic Google account information is shared with the service for the purpose of authentication (logging in). This includes name, email, and graduating year.

Adobe offers a suite of video, image, and design tools—including Photoshop, Premiere, and InDesign—widely used across the school for Yearbook, Art, Content Creation, Design Technology, and various other subjects.
Autodesk 3D Design software is used in Design Technology at the Middle and High School levels to create detailed 3D models.
Canva offers a variety of publishing tools for creating flyers, presentations, logos, websites, and more, all widely used across the school. Every student has access to the full educational license.
CodeHS is a comprehensive platform that students use to learn programming across a variety of languages. It is an essential tool in our Computer Science classes, providing hands-on experience and fostering coding skills through interactive lessons and exercises.
Desmos is a collection of tools designed for high school mathematics, helping students work with graphs, geometry, matrices, and functions.
Veo is the streaming platform used by ISS to record and live stream sporting events.
Used extensively in a range of subjects throughout the Primary, Middle and High Schools
Google Groups is used to create email distribution lists for staff and students.
Google Translate is used throughout the school to help translate a variety of languages.
YouTube is used across various subjects to watch videos that enhance learning. Content is filtered by Google and Jamf Safer Internet.
Google's Applied Digital Skills video lessons are used by students to develop their digital skills across a range of Google Workspace applications.
Mote allows educators to provide personalized audio feedback to students directly within Google Docs.
Kognity is a digital platform for distributing IB online textbooks and digital curricula to high school students.
LitCharts offers summaries and analyses of literary works, helping students grasp key themes, characters, and main ideas. It serves as a valuable resource for preparing for discussions and exams.
Microsoft Office 365 is used by students in the high school for accessing Office applications that support more complex functions used for IB.
Typing Pal is a typing program used throughout the school to help students develop touch typing skills.
Night Zookeeper is a reading and writing program designed for Primary School students.
NoodleTools is a referencing and citation software used by middle school students to help organize and format their sources for research projects.
Notebook LM is used in the High School to create revision materials from PDFs and other documents.
A quiz-based learning tool led by both teachers and students, used for creating revision materials (flashcards) and facilitating peer assessment.
XtraMath is an online maths practice tool designed for primary school students to build fluency in maths facts.
