Our Mission is to provide a vibrant environment that helps our students, parents and teachers foster a love and appreciation of reading.
At ISSH, we aim to make the school's libraries its intellectual and cultural backbone to help support students learning journeys. Both our Kindergarten/Junior School and Middle/High School libraries offer a diverse selection of current and classic materials that reflect a number of viewpoints, different cultures, and belief systems, and appeal to a variety of learning methods.
Libraries aim to be welcoming collaborative areas (both physical and virtual) where students can go to get help with research, technology, and other concerns. To address the information demands of our 21st-century learners, libraries often enlist the help of librarians, information technology specialists, and others.
