💚 WIHS loves having our Little Warriors on campus! We love to spoil them with special events while weaving their program into our campus life, which benefits everyone!
📚 We have monthly Storytimes with Ms. Stuckey in WIHS media center.
🎃 For Halloween we go Trick-or-Treating throughout the high school as we visit classrooms.
📗 Ms. Grace from the Iredell County Library comes to our classroom each month to have Storytime and leaves us lots of good books to read.
🩺 Mrs. Roseberry, WIHS Health Science Teacher, holds a Teddy Bear Clinic where Little Warriors bring in their "stuffy" for vital checks, helping her students gain experience with this age group and providing a fun activity for us.
🐄 Mr. Brittain, WIHS Agricultural Science teacher, holds a Petting Zoo with the help of FFA students and invites us to pet and feed the animals. Sometimes he brings in his bunny and lets us pet her too!
💝 For Valentines Day we visit WIHS classrooms for valentine goodies provided by WIHS teachers, students, and staff.
🍳During Dr Seuss Week Mrs. Shea, WIHS Early Childhood teacher, lets us cook and eat Green Eggs and Ham after reading the book to us.
🐰 Each Spring, Mrs. Shea and the ECE students provide an Easter Egg Hunt for us and many WIHS staff members bring us treat bags to celebrate.
🎓 In May, we hold a special Preschool Graduation Celebration for our Little Warriors who are headed to Kindergarten.
🏫 Little Warriors love when Mr. Johnson, WIHS principal, comes to visit!
We get to visit Ms. Stuckey in the high school media center for a preschool storytime she does just for us!
We visit classroom teachers, administrators, and guidance office staff. They love to see us coming and give us all kinds of goodies!

Mrs. Roseberry's Health Science students are learning how to take blood pressures and other basic skills using different age groups as they practice their skills. Our Little Warriors bring a stuffed animal for the students to use first, showing our Little Warriors it doesn't hurt so they will allow Mrs. Roseberry and her students to do theirs next. They love the Teddy Bear Clinic!
The graduating ECE students help decorate and set up the snacks for preschool graduation as we celebrate the success of our Little Warriors!
