Hi! I’m Katrina Potts, and I teach Culinary Arts and Hospitality I and Culinary Arts and Hospitality II at LNHS. This is my 27th  year teaching, and I’ve spent 7 of those years here at LNHS. I decided to become a teacher because my mom was a teacher and I sort of followed in her footsteps. I always enjoyed learning and found my passion in teaching others. I love when students use what I teach them in class and come back to school and show and tell me all what they have cooked for their family. Outside of teaching, I love spending time at the beach with my grown children. I have a new grandbaby that was born in July and love being her "Lovie". I try to create a classroom where students feel supported and engaged, and where learning is connected to practical skills they can use in their future.
