Course Description
Embark on an exciting journey with us to Valencia, Spain, where students will immerse themselves in the Spanish language and culture while improving their volleyball skills. This trip offers an opportunity to broaden cultural horizons and explore the Valencian and Mediterranean way of living. Students will be curious about the Spanish culture and engage in real-world experiences, including cooking the traditional dish "paella" and living the experience of tapas.
In addition to language immersion and cultural exploration, students will also have plenty of opportunities for face-to-face interaction in the language, helping them put their Spanish skills into practice and develop fluency. They will be inspired to appreciate the benefits of combining sports and education, with former professional volleyball players on the Patacona beach guiding them to improve their volleyball skills.
The trip will include a visit to La ciudad de las artes y las ciencias, the silk exchange building from the 15th century, and the ancient part of Valencia. Students will also explore the iconic Central Market of Valencia and travel to the serene lake of Albufera.
