Course Description
Looking for an unforgettable adventure? Join us for our 5-day course in basic survival skills and techniques! You'll learn how to sustain life in any natural environment, including how to find water, food, and shelter. Plus, if you do this trip, you will be ready for any Duke of Ed's Adventurous Journey! Our trip is organized by 3E Outdoors, the official Duke of Ed Expeditions/Trainings agency. But it's not all hard work! During the course of the 5 days, we'll get to know each other through icebreakers and team challenges, and we'll even learn how to make personalized roasting sticks for our evening campfire. We'll focus on essential survival skills like starting a fire, building a shelter, and collecting water. Then, we'll spend the night bivouacing or sleeping in a tent listening to the sounds of nature. You will also be taken on a small adventure journey where we'll learn how to use maps and compasses while navigating our way through the countryside. We will also spend a day in Cesky Krumlov, renting scooters & abseiling. The program will culminate with a night survival scenario game.
Learning Goals
Our programme is designed to build effective communication, trust, and teamwork among students, connecting and opening up lines of communication. You'll develop leadership skills and independent decision-making, all while entering new environments, revising your self-perception and values, and stepping out of your comfort zone. This is an opportunity to push yourself to new heights and discover what you're truly capable of. Are you up for the challenge?
