IDEAS & INSPIRATION
1) The DofE alumnus and the DofE Club participant Helena Pechova has created a database of extracurricular activities as part of her gold level. Database puts together different courses, contests, and volunteering possibilities from all over the Czech Republic. At the moment, you can find almost 250 activities there. Database is in Czech and is mostly for Czech speakers but if someone needs a project - volunteering or skills, it would be great to research options for Eng speakers and put something like this together!
2) Students from The English College in Prague have started the project Dostupné doučování (Tutoring made available) which helps young students between the ages 9-14 with their studies and since it is particularly aimed at children from socially disadvantaged families, it is for free. This way, DofE participants have a new way of helping others from home. Again, if someone is looking for a project, it might be interesting to give tutoring at ISP a good platform and maybe offer it outside of the ISP community - perhaps teaching English and other languages to socially disadvantaged students or children of single parents?
3) Some of the participants might struggle with finding a residential project now. The residential project doesn´t have to happen abroad. It can be any event that lasts 5 days and the environment is unfamiliar to the participant. Typical residential projects are summer camps, language courses, workcamps and internships.
We have some tips where to find events that could qualify as the residential project:

4) WorldWide Opportunities on Organic Farms, Czechia (WWOOF™ Czechia) is part of a worldwide movement linking visitors with organic farmers and growers to promote cultural and educational experiences based on trust and non-monetary exchange thereby helping to build a sustainable global community. https://wwoof.cz/
5) TAMJDEM (NGO platform for volunteers): We organize daily, weekend and up to two-week volunteer projects to help non-profit organizations throughout the Czech Republic and we also send interested parties to the world. https://tamjdem.cz/?lang=en
