Whenever a huge cultural festival takes place in one culture, we always try to celebrate it as we have students from every culture. We host Hanukkah, Santa Lucia & Holi and do as much as we can diversity-wise. For example, when we celebrated Diwali, the Indian festival of lights, we had a group of Indian students perform a traditional dance.

In the CC club, we also present a lot of different topics and festivals around the school so the students at ISL get to learn a variety of different things. The topics can range from christmas festivals such as snowbombing to serious topics that need to have more awareness like racism. These workshops are so that students can be much more educated in general, but we also focus more on the cultural aspect in others.

We also have multiple discos throughout the year to allow students to have a fun time and interact with each other. For example, back in 2019 before COVID-19 had taken place, the school and CC Club had hosted 2 discos, the halloween disco and the valentines disco which you had to pay a small fee for, which would be donated.
