On this page, I will demonstrate how I chose the SDG and topic that I focus on.
This page also shows how I found and recorded my information.
My SDG is Gender Equality and more specifically how it affects women in sport.
I chose this SDG because I want to learn more about why women get treated so unfairly and how I can make a change to help women.
This SDG Gender Equality is about women getting treated unfairly not only in sports but also in other things such as getting a job, who to play with at school and also at home. There are many other issues related to gender equality but I chose to inquire on the sport issue.
This SDG is also connected to Reduce inequalities, Quality education and also Peace and Justice. There are many more SDG that are connected.
At this pace it would take 40 years for women and men to be represented equally, so we need to make a change right now!

During the PYPx, I need to ask many people for help. I learned to write clear and professional emails. Here is a draft of my first message I sent to my mentor.
This is my self-assessment, showing how I became a more powerful researcher during the PYPx.
