In this interdisciplinary curriculum, the 2024-2028 EXCEL students are embarking on a journey to create a community-wide scavenger hunt aimed at fostering kindness, connection, and learning within their local environment. Through research, collaboration, and hands-on activities, students are designing, implementing, and refining a scavenger hunt experience using QR codes. The project will unfold over three years, culminating in the opening of the scavenger hunt to the broader community. It also connects with the Ten Fundamental Principles of Inventing Self™ and is a natural extension of the current 6th grade Inventing Self Curriculum, which is enhanced by Inventing Self Guest Panel Workshop Experiences.
