Yearbook club is having a very important meeting today in Room 109A. Our rep from Jostens is coming.

"Attention French club! Our next meeting will be after school on Wednesday in room 208. Hope to see you there!"
Just a reminder that there is a meeting in the Little Theater on Wednesday during 9th period for all juniors and seniors INVITED to apply to the National Honor Society . Students who received a letter of invitation should attend if they are interested in moving forward with the application process.
"The Outdoor Club will have a brief informational meeting this Wednesday after school in room 206. Anyone interested in hiking Bear Mountain should attend. See Mr. Buonomo for more details."
There will be a Fitness club meeting on 10/23 directly after school in room 217. All new members are welcome!
"Red Ribbon Week is the oldest and largest drug-use prevention awareness campaign in the United States. The grade that has the most people participate each day will earn battle points. Next Monday is Pajama Day, Tuesday is Twin Day, Wednesday is Team Jersey Day, Thursday is Superhero day and Friday is Halloween Spirit day." Students and staff are encouraged to participate."
Attention Brave Members, Our first meeting is this Friday, Oct 23rd in room 114 immediately after school. All are welcome to attend. Please see Mrs. Barfield or Ms. O’Neil if you have any questions.

The 17th Annual Joe Masi Memorial Fundraiser has been rescheduled for Wednesday, November 4, at 6:00 p.m. on the high school track. Join us as we honor Joe Masi by walking the track together. All donations support the Joe Masi Scholarship Fund. Wear your battle colors! Battle points will be awarded to the grade that raises the most money and has the highest attendance. Pick up a sponsor sheet from your class advisor, and see Mrs. Gross or Mrs. Thielemann with any questions.
Sports Announcements and Highlights
Calling all Bowlers. The Boys Bowling team will be having an interest meeting for all new and returning bowlers of all levels. Come roll with us this Wednesday immediately after school in room 146 or stop by and see Mr. Aristy if you are interested. This Wednesday, October 21st!
The Girls JV Volleyball team defeated Valley Stream South 3-0 in their Volley for a Cure game in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. Sophomore setter Brooke Cavataio led the Bulldogs with 6 aces, 7 kills, 5 assists, and 4 digs. Eighth-grade setter Karliegh Chase also had an outstanding performance, recording 2 aces, 7 kills, and 3 assists. Defensively, Frankie Hultin helped keep the Bulldogs in control with an impressive 12 digs, making key plays throughout the match. Other key players contributing to the win included sophomores Mannat Kahlon and Aniella Sartorio, along with freshmen Victoria Cuellar Cardona and Kayley Camacho. The Bulldogs came together for a great team win while supporting an important cause!
School Procedures
Students with Chromebook issues can visit the technology office located in the back of the library. Please remember that cell phone use is prohibited during the school day. To report any type of absence, lateness or to request an early dismissal, call the Attendance Office directly at 516-520-2142.
