Our classroom is an inviting and exciting space for students to learn and grow. You can expect challenging, engaging priority and choice works each week. Mrs. Wendy and I are here to help and support you! Working together, we will have a successful year!

About me, Ms. Eleanor!

My name is Mrs. Eleanor and I am thrilled to be teaching at Island Montessori! I have a BA in Elementary Education, and a current NC Teaching License. After several years in a tradition classroom, I discovered Montessori and loved it! I received my Montessori Diploma, and have been teaching in the Montessori environment since 2011. My husband and I have three children, and two dogs. We love to go camping as a family, and especially enjoy camping in the mountains of NC.

I am so excited to be Mrs. Eleanor's TA. I look forward to a year of learning, fun, and adventure! Let's make this an incredible year.

I grew up in Wilmington, NC and love this great city. I am married to Chris, we have one daughter, Julia and a rescued dog named Red Heart. I have a BA in Chemistry, a Master of Arts in Elementary Education, and I have a NC Teaching License.
