Susan Rahim | Quilt Making
After meeting her husband, Rahim, at university in Indiana, USA, Susan Rahim came to Malaysia and began working at ISKL in 1975. She has played many roles at ISKL. She has worked in the Middle School and High School divisions as both a classroom teacher and an administrator. Most recently Susan’s signature has been deeply engraved on the IB Anthropology course offered in the High School. A labor of love, the course has featured strong connections to Malaysian ethnic groups, enhanced by Susan’s meticulously organized syllabus.
Artists-in-Residence | 6 Panther Buddies
To commemorate our 60th Anniversary, we will create six life-sized panther sculptures that will represent each of our divisions at ISKL. Each sculpture will have an artist to take the stories and values of each group to decorate their respective division's panther:
Elementary School - Haffendi Anuar
Middle School - Fritilldea
High School - Christine Das
Alumni - Jacktus
Faculty & Staff - William Koong
Parents - Dianne Tahir
We've finished all brainstorming sessions and will now leave it to our artists to decorate our panthers! Stay tuned and come for the reveal of the six sculptures at our 60th Anniversary!
