WHAT?
WHAT?
STEAM-S is a sustainability themed STEAM event (hence the 'S') that hopes to empower student engagement with renewable energies as well as driving critical and creative thinking.
When: November 27th - 29th 2020
Where: International School Ho chi Minh City (ISHCMC) Secondary Campus, 1 Xuân Thủy, Thảo Điền, Quận 2, Hồ Chí Minh
Each school will bring two teams, one team of three juniors (grades 6 - 8) and one team of three seniors (grades 9 - 11)
Each school team will require a staff member to support
Teams will be made up from a mixture of students from each school, this is to promote friendship and socialising
Please ensure that you have completed this participants list
9 am - meet in the canteen of ISHCMC secondary campus for greetings and information. Teams will also be made at this time
9.30 am - drinks, snacks and socialising
10 am - seniors go with Mr Wooldridge to room 501
- juniors go with Mr McCormick to room 404
Instructions, directions and safety are covered.
12 pm - lunch in the canteen
1.00 pm - both cohorts return to respective rooms to continue with their task
2.45 pm - snack break (located outside both rooms)
3.00 pm - both cohorts return to respective rooms to continue with their task
4.30 pm - end of day 1 (tidy and setup for tomorrow)
9 am - meet in the canteen of ISHCMC secondary campus for greetings, feedback and check-ins
9.30 am - seniors go with Mr Wooldridge to room 501
- juniors go with Mr McCormick to room 404
Work from the previous day is continued or a new task begins, depending whether junior or senior.
12 pm - lunch in the canteen
1.00 pm - both cohorts return to respective rooms to continue with their task
2.45 pm - snack break (located outside both rooms)
3.00 pm - both cohorts return to respective rooms to continue with their task
4.30 pm - end of day 1 (tidy and setup for tomorrow)
9 am - meet in the canteen of ISHCMC secondary campus for greetings, feedback and check-ins
9.30 am - All students head to the roof to test their products
11.00 am - gather in the canteen for awards and goodbyes (snacks and drinks provided)
12 pm - free to leave

Awards will be given to both juniors and seniors in the following categories:
- Most energy generated
- Most creative design
- Best teamwork
