The ISHCMC stingrays is a competitive swim team for students in Grades 1 - 12 with over 120 students who regularly compete locally and internationally. They are known for both their ability and team spirit.

Stingrays is a place for swimmers to develop their aquatic skills and competitive spirit with an emphasis on resilience, teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline. We aim to help your child to become not only a strong athlete, but also a well-rounded and balanced person.

We also emphasize team building and fostering community spirit within and outside of school. Every year, we host Sting-a-Thon, a fundraising event to raise money for Ho Tram Water Safety Programme. This has become a staple within ISHCMC. Last academic year, under the ISHCMC PTO,Stingrays joined a school wide effort in raising funds for the flooding victims in central Vietnam.

Stingrays hold tryouts twice year: at the beginning of the academic year and beginning of the 3rd quarter for students. All students need to attend fall tryouts regardless of their status on the team the previous academic year. This academic year, we will hold tryouts once on-campus learning resumes and when we are allowed back in the water.
