Welcome to ISG Dammam Virtual Learning website. Whether physical or virtual the ISG community is dedicated to the mission, "We inspire innovation and compassionate action". On this page you will find information about how we engage this mission through remote learning opportunities. We strive to embrace research-based practices from educational, social science, and cognitive studies to provide the best learning environment for our students.
As we commenced this most-recent venture into Virtual School, we focused on three mantras. Those are:
Wellbeing - the safety and wellbeing of students is our primary concern while learning on campus. There is no reason for that to be any different while learning remotely. In fact, there is ample evidence to show that caring for social-emotional needs while social-distancing is especially important.
Flexibility - we don't know what the future holds. Therefore, we plan with the best intentions in mind, but prepare to make adjustments, as needed.
Meaningful learning - it is impossible to recreate the complete classroom experience through remote means. Instead, we need to focus on what is essential, and create meaningful learning opportunities and experiences.

Among these, you will find links entitled 'ES', 'MS', and 'HS' which will take you to pages that describe the expectations of students, teachers, and parents for each division of the school. The link entitled 'Resources' will take you to information that may be helpful for all members of our community during this stressful time. You will also find a wealth of other information about virtual learning.
While this is not a journey that any of us could have anticipated, we are confident that we can continue to inspire innovation and compassionate action together.
