Head Coach Ann Gustafson

I began nordic skiing in the Wilds Of Bemidji's backwoods at the tender age of 2. It was always one of (and still is) a great family adventure. I enjoy combining teaching, my love of skiing  and being outside in nature. I teach 6th grade (mostly) Science at CMS, Mother of 2 amazing daughters, wife of Gus (Chris). In my spare time I mountain bike, enjoy music,  local  governance saving cats (ha) and growing things like blueberries at our Leaning Barn Farm. 

 Favorite Ski Trails :Jay Cooke State Park : Spruce, Upperlake, Lost Lake Bear Chase 

Assistant Coach Anneliese LaFond

Anneliese LaFond is a music and reading teacher at Cloquet Middle School and Washington Elementary. She also enjoys participating in community band, playing piano, and spending time outside. She started skiing with her family at a young age and is excited to now coach the sport. 

Favorite Ski Trails: Saint Mary's University Trails in Winona and Giants Ridge
