Fine Free Library Card
ISD 917 has partnered with Dakota County Library. This collaboration provides all of our students with a fine free library card that is valid until they graduate from high school. Students cards were issued in early October via students' school email accounts. These cards give students access to the wonderful resources Dakota County Library has to offer, including online one-on-one homework help, research tools, eBooks, audio books, electronic magazines, print books and more. From the website: "It is our goal to share books where young children of color can see themselves, and the stories they relate to, represented within the pages. Book reviews and resources will incorporate language-focused strategies that may be used by parents, educators, and speech-language pathologists."
