Background

Two significant deaths occurred as both Coach Hannah and diver Mara died within a six-month window of each other.  Each of these events created the spark within the team to recognize our need to improve connections among all of our peers, and within the team, and become leaders in recognizing ways we can work to enhance the needs of those around us.

As we spend time annually recognizing the demand for mental health awareness, our goal is to make conversations around challenging topics more approachable for our youth today.
