Career Video Library

What is the Video Library?

Business and Industry partners have increased the number and quality of videos and virtual tours so you can see what is involved in a career.  It is an accessible way to see if a career interests you.  If it does, you could do a Next-Level Career Exploration Event such as a Career Forum, Site Visit, or Job Shadow. You can request that in your follow-up Summary/Reflection form.

How do I select and watch a video? 

Look through the library for over 1,300 videos cataloged by Career Cluster/Career Pathway.  

You can navigate the video library by clicking on the tabs at the top of the site page or clicking "more" to navigate the sidebar. Click on a video and watch it. They are often short, so you should watch more than one to get a good feel for the career. Your teacher, counselor, or career development specialist might send you a video based on your interests. 

HINT: Use "CONTROL F" to search for a career within the site!

Before you select videos, be sure you've been in Xello!

Go to your student portal and log in to Xello.

In Xello, under "About Me", complete the Matchmaker assessment.  

Be sure you have identified 3 Careers/2 Career Clusters. 

We encourage you to complete ALL of the inventories under "About Me" because the more you complete, the more accurate your results are!

After completing your video(s):

Complete the following assignment:

Your results may be shared with your teacher/counselor and career development specialist.
