Small Groups

Small groups are a wonderful way for students to work on skills with their peers. These groups may be short-term or long-term. Groups that involve younger students may involve anywhere from three to five students. Groups that involve students in the upper grades may involve up to eight students.

The following is a list of groups that typically run:

  • Social Skills group
  • Self-Control group
  • Self-Esteem group
  • Friendship group (devoted to making friends)
  • Friendship group (devoted to keeping friends)
  • Family Change group
  • Grief/Loss group
  • Anger Management group

Please fill out the below form if you'd like to refer a student or your child to see the counselor. Please know that I will use my professional discretion when it comes to contacting you following your referral.
