ParentSquare (for families) is an easy-to-use communication tool that brings school messages into one place making it simple for families, and staff to stay connected.
With ParentSquare you can:
Receive messages from the school via email, text, or app notification
Send and receive messages in your preferred language with built-in translation
Choose how you receive notifications: instantly or in a daily digest at 6 p.m.

ParentSquare Notification Settings
Notification Setting Options
In ParentSquare, parents/caregivers, staff, and students in grades 9-12 have three options for how often they receive notifications from the platform:
Instant: Receive all messages instantly
Digest: Receive all messages together in one daily communication around 6 PM.
By doing this, you will receive all notifications at about 6:00 PM with the exceptions of “School Alerts,” which are also called “Smart Alerts” and are intended for important information. The most severe emergency alerts are called “Urgent Alerts,” which cannot be disabled; you will receive Urgent Alerts regardless of your settings as these are intended to be used sparingly.
Off: No notifications are sent.*
*Please note: Regardless of your notification settings, you will continue to receive emergency notifications instantly.
How to Change Your Notification Settings on Web Browser
From Home, click your name in the top-right corner and select My Account.
Select Notification Settings on the left.
Choose your preferred Notification Settings for General Announcements & Messages (Off, Instant or Digest) and School Alerts (Recommended to keep ON).

How to Change Your Notification Settings on Mobile App
From Home, tap the Menu (triple bars) on the top left.
Select Account.
Select Notifications.
Use the toggle to turn on or odd notifications by email, text, and app.
Select Instant or Digest for email, text, or app.

How to Update Language Settings
What are the Differences Between Posts, Alerts, and Direct Messages in ParentSquare?
Posts: Information the school wants you to know, but it does not need to immediately be received will be sent through the Posts portion of the platform. Examples include the school newsletter or a reminder about an upcoming event at the school.
Posts will arrive in the recipient's preferred language.
You can "appreciate" these posts or comment on them.
When you comment on a post, only the school/district staff who created the post will see your comment.
Parents cannot view other parents' comments.
Alerts and Notifications: Important information the school wants to notify you about quickly will be sent through the Alerts and Notifications portion of the platform. These may come through as emails, text messages, and/or voicemails.
You cannot reply directly to Alerts and Notifications.
Alerts and Notifications will be sent in the recipient's preferred language.
This feature will be used to send information the school wants you to be aware of right away, including school bus delays, inclement weather, and more.
Messages: District/school staff can communicate directly with parents individually or in small groups through the messages portion of the platform. Message recipients will receive an email, app, or text notification when they receive a message.
Replies can be done through email, app or text.
Parents cannot message other parents in ParentSquare.
The message will be received in the recipient's preferred language.
