Welcome to Kindergarten!
Do you have a child who will be 5 years old on or before September 1st that is ready to start Kindergarten in the fall of 2020? We are excited to partner with you as they enter our Primary School adventure in learning!
How do I register?
It is required that students complete preschool screening before entrance to Kindergarten. Please see Preschool Screening to schedule an appointment. (If your child has completed preschool screening at another district, you may indicate that on the registration form so we can request the documentation from that district.)
Enrollment Packets have been mailed to families that are on our census. Please contact Sheila (contact info below) if you are new to the district, or if you are interested in open enrolling. (If you are not sure of your resident district, visit this site.)
*Please be prepared to return a copy of your child's birth certificate and immunization record/notarized conscientious exemption form along with the enrollment papers.
Please complete and return forms at your earliest convenience:
- Email forms to firstname.lastname@example.org
- Fax forms to 763-261-4559, Attn: Sheila Ely-Kotaska
- Mail forms to Becker School District Office, 12000 Hancock Street, Becker, MN 55308
- Bring to the District Office located in the Becker High School, Door #2 (next to the Performing Arts Center)
All new students must fill out an online transportation request form by June 15th. Services may be delayed up to 2 weeks if request is received after routes have been made.
If your Kindergarten student has older siblings that are already attending Becker Schools and ride the bus, please complete a request only for the newly enrolling Kindergartener.
Applications for Educational Benefits (free or reduced lunch) for the 2020-21 school year will be available in July. Please wait to fill out the form with the correct school year.
