Minnesota History

Course Description: We will explore Minnesota's history from the early 1600's to modern times. We use the Northern Lights, second edition textbook, and some of the units that we will cover are: Minnesota culture and map study, Dakota and Ojibwe, the Fur Trade, Minnesota's Newcomers, the U.S. Civil War and Minnesota's Civil War, Minnesota's Industries, WWI, the Great Depression, WWII, Cold War, Civil Rights, and Modern Minnesota.
