We offer STEM and/or Makerspace classes for all students in Kindergarten through fifth grade at Falcon Ridge Elementary School in New Prague, MN.Ā We are proud to be part of the New Prague Area Schools #721 District. We're on the map!
Each homeroom enjoys a STEM/Makerspace class once every five cycle days, for a duration of fifty minutes.Ā Ā
Who is my Maker Lab teacher?
Your STEM/Makerspace teacher is Mrs. Essien.Ā She is also the school's Media Specialist, she orders and organizes the books and supplies keeping the Creative Commons running smoothly.Ā Mrs. Essien has taught for New Prague Area Schools for 26+ years.Ā She lives in Lonsdale, MN, with her husband Andrew and their beloved dogs (Gemma, Bella) and cat (Loki).

When do I check out books?
Click the icon to the left see your day! You will check out books with you classroom teacher one time each cycle day week.Ā You may have a total of 2 books checked out under your account at all times.Ā Outside of your scheduled checkout time, you may come to get new books when it doesn't interrupt learning in your class. Come with a friend to help.
