Paul Anderson

Paul is the father of Scott Anderson.  He and his wife Carol are the driving force behind the Forum and started as a legacy in honor of their son.  Paul gives a talk that centers around the life of Scott and how his motto "life is the pursuit, not the capture" guides the Forum.

Craig Hillier

Craig Hillier is a motivational speaker that incorporates engaging activities with a powerful message.  You'll look inward and learn to use life lessons to guide your life as a leader.  You'll laugh and be moved all for the purpose of helping find the leader within.

Carl Crawford

Carl  is the Human Rights Officer for the City of Duluth.  Carl's presentation is not preachy but informative.  He'll make you think and consider the perspective of those whose views differ from your own. He is a pragmatist and a breath of fresh air!

Alissa Anderson

Alissa is a school counselor at Esko High School.  Her fun-loving, playful style will keep you engaged as she helps you navigate the twists and turns of high school and the search for happiness.

Jes-wa' Harris

Jes-wa’ is a passionate mentor, coach, and youth services provider with 27 years of experience serving the community and working with youth in residential treatment facilities, crisis shelters, Intensive Day Treatment programs and school programming. His talk on resiliency comes from experience and will inspire.

Megan Perry Spears

Megan's dynamic, high energy talk will keep you engaged as she describes the "W curve" that people, and specifically students, will likely navigate as they go through changes in their lives.  When you do, you'll be able to recognize the ups and downs of the curve which will give you some tools to help you make it through.

Bill Zwak

Bill is a science teacher at East High School and is passionate about having all people, but especially young people, act with civility and kindness in person, which is relatively easy, and online, which seems to be much more difficult! 

Robbie Sobczak

Robbie is a SALF alum that will speak about the concept of having a "growth mindset".

Ori Scherer

Ori is a science teacher at Esko High School.  Her presentation encourages leaders to get comfortable with being vulnerable as doing so often inspires courage in the people they lead.
