Participation in swim meets is not required as a condition of joining this team, but it is strongly encouraged. It's a great way to experience what a swim meet is like and show off your skills! We have four meets scheduled this year: two against only Ordean East, and two vs both Ordean East and Superior Middle Schools.

Thursday, Feburary 26th, HOME vs Superior @ LPMS
Thursday, March 5th, AWAY vs Ordean and Superior @ Superior High School
Thursday March 12th AWAY vs Ordean @ Ordean East Middle School (All City Meet)
The estimated start time for meets is 4:30 and they last approximately 1.5-2 hours, depending on the total number of kids participating.
At our home meets, LPMS students are expected to head to the pool immediately after school to change and help set up for the meet. They are also expected to stay for the duration of the meet and to help clean up after it concludes. Please note: there is no school provided transportation to take students home after a swim meet, please make arrangements to pick up your student from Lincoln.
Away Meets
When we travel to another school for a swim meet, the coaches and athletes will take a school bus from Lincoln to the location of the meet. At the conclusion of an away meet, athletes have two options:
Take the bus back to Lincoln Park Middle School and have a parent or guardian pick them up at Lincoln. There is no transportation from LPMS to a student's house.
Leave the meet with a parent or guardian - they MUST check out with one of the coaches prior to leaving so we know how many (and who) to expect on the return bus.
