To inspire student athletes to become people of empathy and integrity who live lives of servant leadership and joy.
Coach Lofald bleeds maroon and gold! He is a 1997 Duluth Denfeld Alum where he played both football and basketball. In 2012, Coach Lofald came back to his alma mater as an Assistant Coach serving both the JV and Varsity levels. In 2013, he served as the C-Team Head Coach as well RB/DB coach at the Varsity level. In 2014, he moved up with his talented group to serve as the JV Head coach while continuing to serve as a Varsity Assistant. In 2019, Coach Lofald was honored to accept the role as Varsity Head Coach! Coach Lofald lives in the Lincoln Park community and is married to Rachel who teaches choir at Duluth Denfeld. They have two children, son Tobias (Toby-6 year old) and daughter Erin (3 year old).

I graduated from here along with my sister (who's family lives across from Wheeler), my mom taught here for 30+years and now serves on the school board representing the Western District, my dad is a paraprofessional at Denfeld and now my wife teaches choir here! My family lives in Lincoln Park...we are All-In!"
