Practice Info

Practices will be Monday through Thursday until games begin two weeks into the season. Once games begin, we will practice twice per week on non-game days. There are no games or practices on Friday or the weekends.

When our game schedule becomes available, we can lock in practice days from mid September until the season concludes on October 14..

As of 8/25/26, we have nearly 50 players signed up. For now and moving forward we will have a Mariner team and a Central team (we may need to adjust this slightly one last year in 2026 if numbers are too lopsided considerably toward one school). 

FIRST WEEK PRACTICE DETAILS

Tuesday, September 1st through Thursday, September 3rd will be "welcome week". All players from both schools will practice together at Price Field behind Central Middle School which is located at 4857 Bloom Avenue, White Bear Lake, MN, 55110.

After "welcome week", Mariner coach Lucas Larson, players, and parents will decide if they want to use available space at Mariner or continue to practice at Price Field.

Practice will begin at 4 PM after school for Team Central and once Team Mariner players arrive from the activity bus. Practice will conclude at 5:30 PM for both Central and Mariner teams during week one. This may be adjusted depending on where Team Mariner practices beginning Tuesday, September 8th.

An activity bus will bring Mariner students to Central immediately after school.

For players unable to be picked up after practice at 5:30, an activity bus will be available. 

After practice, students who need to use an activity bus to get home will walk from Central, across the field and to the high school outside of the Field House (The side of the high school next to the large parking lot). One of the coaches will help with this. There will be four activity buses that will bring our student players to a drop off spot located near your home. Activity buses leave at 5:45 PM from the High School.
