Behavior Expectations

We focus on these 4 areas of the DRAGON ZONE when managing behaviors:

• RESPECTFUL
• RESPONSIBLE
• COOPERATIVE
• SAFE

I will be using a behavior clip chart this year to monitor student behaviors. Students will be asked to clip up if they are exceeding behavior expectations or they will be asked to clip down if they are not meeting our classroom behavior expectations. Students will start on green each day. They will be able to clip up three colors to pink or down three colors to red. If students are on pink at the end of they day they will get a prize pick in the prize box. If students are on red at the end of the day they will lose break time (the following day) or a call home will be made. Students will have a calendar to fill out each day of the month with the color they ended on that day. Parents are expected to sign the calendar each day and discuss the school day with their child.
