One Act
One-Act Information
Pine City High School Theater Program participates in the MSHSL One-Act Competition event each year. OAP rules are set by the MSHSL and limit participation to no more than 20 students in both cast & crew. Due to this limitation, priority is given in cast and crew assignments to students in grades 9-12, but all students are welcome to audition.

Auditions are scheduled for Tuesday, December 3rd from 3:00 - 5:00 PM

Rehearsal Expectations
Rehearsals schedule is TBD and is often based on student availability. For the 2024-2025 season there may be a need for an evening rehearsal or two each week to accommodate interest for students from other activities.
Participating in the One Act is an every rehearsal day commitment. As the show is only 30 minutes in length, we will be doing a run of the show every day that we rehearse. Missing a cast member due to another activity becomes challenging. That said, if you have a potential conflict - email Becky to discuss before deciding whether or not to audition.
Activity Fee
All cast & crew members must complete the MSHSL Eligibility Form and pay the Activity Fee by the end of the first week of rehearsals in order to participate in the One-Act.
