Good Ideas for Mental Wellness:
If you're at home doing Distance Learning or working remotely, setup a schedule!
Maintain social connections as much as possible through direct forms of communication, such as phone call or face time over the computer
Maintain a sleep schedule, easy to say I can stay up later and get up later, but its gonna mess with you.
Engage in social media, but make sure you set limits or if it doesn't make you feel happy or bring out the best in you, stop using it for a while.
Staying informed is important, but allow yourself to be informed and then move on to something else. Too much media and information can impact our ways of thinking.
Physical activity is tremendous for our mental wellness. Also generally this means we're outside in the elements which is also very good for our mental wellness.
Do the things that make you feel good, engage in healthy behaviors that you enjoy! Take good care of yourself! You deserve it!
Lastly, start with having a positive self image. If you don't, start by believing the bullet point above. YOUR DESERVE IT, YOU ARE WORTH IT, YOU ARE WORTHY! Our brain it has a powerful influence over the rest of our body and health, start by having healthy thoughts even just simple ones.
