Good Ideas for Mental Wellness:

  • If you're at home doing Distance Learning or working remotely, setup a schedule!

  • Maintain social connections as much as possible through direct forms of communication, such as phone call or face time over the computer

  • Maintain a sleep schedule, easy to say I can stay up later and get up later, but its gonna mess with you.

  • Engage in social media, but make sure you set limits or if it doesn't make you feel happy or bring out the best in you, stop using it for a while.

  • Staying informed is important, but allow yourself to be informed and then move on to something else. Too much media and information can impact our ways of thinking.

  • Physical activity is tremendous for our mental wellness. Also generally this means we're outside in the elements which is also very good for our mental wellness.

  • Do the things that make you feel good, engage in healthy behaviors that you enjoy! Take good care of yourself! You deserve it!

  • Lastly, start with having a positive self image. If you don't, start by believing the bullet point above. YOUR DESERVE IT, YOU ARE WORTH IT, YOU ARE WORTHY! Our brain it has a powerful influence over the rest of our body and health, start by having healthy thoughts even just simple ones.
