Chromatography

Today for science, students explored chromatography - separating mixtures in a solution. Here are some pictures from our experiement. We decided they would make fun, beautiful book marks! 1/24/24

For most of January we will be working on Starbase Mars kits that will expose kids to STEM careers, skills, and exploration. Here is a video from our first experiment. Kids were blown away by what the sand and the water did when they were together!

Students turned in science projects last week about invasive or extinct species. They were awesome! Ask your student to see theirs.  1/15/24


Chapter 5 Science test: Wednesday, November 22nd. Below is the GimKit they can use to study. I would suggest they  also use the flashcards they are creating, as well as their notes.  I would encourage you and your student to think about HOW these concepts can be applied in biomes.
