We are learning how to use different types of tools for measurements; ruler, yardstick, tape measure, even string!

Sharing our Native American Shelters projects. The students learned about the different regions that the Native Americans lived in, what kind of homes they made and how they made them, and the natural resources that were available in that region for making their shelters. The students were encouraged to use materials from nature as much as possible in building their replicas, just as the Native Americans would have done.
