For the past 13 years, I have lived and taught in Winona with my husband Mark, daughter Annika (21), and my son Ethan (19). Previous to that we lived in Austin for 10 years. My husband and I moved to Fergus Falls in July, while our children stayed in Winona to attend college.

I attended Winona State University for my undergraduate work with licensure in Preschool and Kindergarten-Grade 6. I received my Master of Arts in Literacy Education as well as my K-12 Reading Specialist license from St. Marys University. My teaching experience ranges from grades Pre-K-12 with a primary focus in literacy instruction. I love to see the personal growth of each student.

I am happy to be a part of this great community and look forward to an exciting school year.
