Mrs. Akerman lives outside Battle Lake with her husband and three kids. She is beginning her 7 year of teaching high school special education. Mrs. Akerman is the assistant volleyball coach for the Battlers. In her free time, she enjoys Crossfit, anything outdoors, playing games and attending Minnesota sporting events.
