How to switch users within Google platforms

Frequent issues:

  • When you log in, make sure you use your full email address: e.g. 9876543@isd535.org

  • Use the eye icon to check that your password is correct.

  • On iPads, it helps to also have these Google apps downloaded to make Google Classroom run more smoothly: Google Docs, Google Meet, and Google Slides

  • On browsers, Chrome works best for Google Classroom. If you can use that, it's recommended.

Frequent Issues:

  • Are you logged in with your @isd535.org email address?

  • If you're on an iPad, do you have the Google Meet app downloaded?

      1. On school devices: Open the Self Service app, search for Google Meet, and click "Install." Open the app and log in, then return to your Google Classroom!

      2. On personal devices, use the itunes store to download and install Google Meet. Log in, then return to your Google Classroom.

  • Look for the camera icon on an ipad. The browser version will have both the camera icon and the Meet link. Use the link in your Google Classroom to make sure you can join the right meeting room.
