Fabulous First Grade

Welcome to First Grade!

Hello, my name is Katie Hemminger and this will be my sixth year teaching. I taught Kindergarten for one year and have been teaching First Grade for the last five years.

I live in Royalton with my husband Nick, daughter Sophia (2) and puppy Bentley who is a Chihuahua, Jack Russel, Rat Terrior mix. I love going for walks, baking, reading, spending time with family, and fishing.

I am currently attending Concordia University, St. Paul to obtain my Master's Degree in Differentiated Instruction. As of this summer I am halfway through my program! I love continueing to learn so I can help each student be successful inside and outside of the classroom.
