Another season of junior golf is right around the corner. We are very excited for another summer season! If you could please pass this information about our programs along to your high school golf team, it would be very much appreciated!
The Minnesota PGA's Junior Golf Program, the 'Sota Series, is the premiere competitive junior golf program in the Midwest. It consists of four unique "tours," based on age and skill level, with the goal of being a training ground for juniors to play more competitive golf or pursue golf beyond high school.
Each tour has flexible scheduling that allows for plenty of golf with minimal disruption to your summer routine. Make sure to check out which events near you fit in your summer schedule. Event schedules for each of the tours can be found by visiting www.MinnesotaJuniorGolf.com or by clicking on their respective badge below.
The deadline date for signing up for a membership and making picks through the Tournament Selection Process is on Friday, May 3 at 4:30 p.m. (CST).
If you have any questions at this time please contact Director of Junior Golf, Karla Hagen by emailing her at khagen@pgahq.com or Junior Golf Manager, Megan Welch by emailing her at mwelch@pgahq.com.
Thanks and have a great Spring Season!
"Many of you are probably aware of the Minnesota Youth on Course program. This program is designed for golfers ages 6-18. For a $30 yearly fee, it provides the golfer with a junior membership to the MGA and a handicap through GHIN. Once a member, junior golfers can play at over 110 different golf courses in MN and over 2000 courses nationwide for only $5 per round. This cannot be used in lieu of your team fees, but is meant as a way to make summer golf more affordable. To find out more about this incredible program click on this link."
