~Agate Prime Lego Robotics~

Meeting Time: We meet most Mondays and Fridays

About Our Club/Activity: Agate Prime Lego Robotics competes with other Lego Robotics teams.  We design robots to complete different tasks as quickly as possible and earn points.  When the competition season is over, we have fun with new challenges, such as creating sumo bots who can stay in a ring longer than other robots.  Our core values include discovery, teamwork and fun. 

~DECA~

Meeting Time: Tuesdays during homeroom. Competition is in the spring.

About Our Club/Activity: DECA is a marketing and business club that prepares emerging leaders for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. We compete in various events such as role plays, written projects and sales demonstrations. We travel to competitions around the state, region and country.




~Enviro Club ~

Meeting Time: B Lunch - If a student doesn’t have B Lunch, they can still join us. We add students with an A Lunch to our Google Classroom and provide notes of what we discussed each week. Also, these students are more than welcome to join us for activities that we do outside of the school day.

About Our Club/Activity: Enviro Club is currently looking at ways to make our school more ecologically friendly. We also compete in the envirothon. The envirothon is an outdoor knowledge bowl based on forestry, wildlife, aquatics and soil science. Our school has had dozens of teams make it to the state envirothon over the years. It is an excellent opportunity to meet experts in the field of natural resources. We also go on hikes and take trips based on outdoor education.


~FFA ~

About our Club/Activity: FFA prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agriculture, food and natural resource education. Students participate in a variety of Career Development Events (competitions) in the areas of Forestry, Fish and Wildlife, Floriculture, Companion Animal Care.

~International Travel Club ~

Meeting Time: Once a month or a bit more before a trip.  We meet during homeroom and sometimes evening meetings with parents. 


About Our Club/Activity: Students learn how to plan for an international trip. The club is a guide to help students learn how to travel and to learn about other cultures. It is a great way to experience the world with your peers and to explore.




~National Honor Society (NHS) ~

About Our Club/Activity: NHS is based on the following four cornerstones: Scholarship, Character, Leadership and Service. The first step in becoming a member is to have a cumulative GPA of 3.300 or higher at the end of the first semester of your sophomore year. If you meet this requirement, you will get an invitation to apply. If you turn in the application on time, it goes to a selection committee. If you meet the criteria needed to become a member, you get inducted at the THHS honors night in May. To maintain membership, you need to keep a cumulative GPA of 3.300 or higher while showing good character, leadership and service to the community. As an NHS member we do a wide variety of service projects for our community.



~One Act Play ~

Meeting Time: After school Monday-Thursday


About Our Club/Activity: One act is a competition between other schools to see who can perform the best play. We work for around two and half months on a play that must be under 35 minutes. The goal is to act out the play near the end of January in a competition against five to six other schools. The two best plays judged will move on to compete the following week against five other schools to go to state. At state, the play no longer becomes a competition but a festival where you  perform for a star rating.

About our Club/Activity: Pride Club is a safe space to be yourself without hostility. We are a supportive group that spends time hanging out in a calm, yet chaotic (in a fun way!) and we are currently working towards the creation of a Pride Event for Two Harbors in collaboration with our local newspaper. We were excited to have the paper feature us in a couple of the June issues of last year.

Meeting Time: We meet on Wednesdays and Fridays every week with other practices and activities added as needed.

About our club/activity: We compete with other robotics teams around the state in competitions that consist of four categories: Robot Game, Core Values, Robot Design, and Innovative Project. We work together as a team to develop important technology, presentation, and leadership skills, use engineering processes, and have FUN! We also do a variety of community outreach events such as classes at the public library, mentoring other robotics teams, and hosting scrimmages. In our off season we offer a summer camp so kids can come see what it’s like to be on our team.



~Rock Solid Robotics~

About Your Club/Activity: We build a robot to be able to compete with and against other robots from other communities. Each season is a different game with different tasks for the robot to accomplish. We also have team members involved with social media posting, photography, fundraising, CAD design, computer programming, graphic design, website, newsletters, and more. We are open to any student in grades 9-12, no experience necessary, just a desire to learn new and cool stuff!

About Our Club/Activity: WCC is a welcoming, exciting club where we strive to learn about other cultures across the world.  We listen to cultural speakers, go on field trips around Minnesota to see shows and museums, eat at fun restaurants, put on WCC Week, and have a great time celebrating culture!  We would love for anyone in grades 9-12 to join us.

About Our Club/Activity: We publish the THHS yearbook annually. It involves taking photos, writing stories, organizing group and individual photos, communicating with and representing all of the other clubs and activities in the school, documenting everything from the major events to the daily lives of the students and staff, and creating a lasting legacy each year for THHS.
