Hello!

My name is Lisa West. I am honored to be part of your child's 6th grade learning journey! I will be one of your child's many teachers this year. This year I will be teaching SOCIAL STUDIES as well as serving as our school Dean of Students. I am committed to helping all students OVERCOME CHALLENGES and EMBRACE OPPORTUNITIES!

I have been teaching at various grade levels for over 20 years. I love TEACHING and helping students GROW towards becoming the BEST they can be!

Spending time with my family is my favorite thing to do. Traveling, skiing, cooking and reading are my favorite hobbies. I am looking forward to getting to know my students and what they enjoy doing.

I attended Bemidji State University for my teaching degree and later obtained a Master's Degree through the University of Minnesota ~Duluth. I recently obtained my Pre-K-12 administrative license through Minnesota State University, Moorhead.

We are going to have a GREAT year!
