Large spaces that have limited traffic, are quieter areas, and have lighting that can be dimmed. This example shows a gymnasium. It should be noted that running the Starlab alongside an active gym class is not a good idea due to noise.
Larger spaces that can fit the Starlab but have a lot of traffic are not ideal, but are an option. In this example the site used their cafeteria. They didn't run the starlab during their lunch periods but did have to move all of the tables around as it wasn't efficient to setup and tear down the Starlab for lunch.
Spaces that are less than ideal but may be the only option can be worked around. In this example traffic flow is routed around the Starlab. Due to daily traffic, some sessions are not a good option due to the noise generated.
Spaces that are unsafe or do not have the minimum space requirements. In this example, we learned this space only looked high enough and were lucky to miss a sprinkler head by only a few feet.
