VISION STATEMENT
"Horace May strives to be a caring learning community that values student success, communication, kindness and respect."
May and June 2025
Hello Horace May Students and Families!
Hello Spring!
We are entering the May, nearly the last month of school. Our last day is June 4 and we will be working hard right up to that date!
I've made a difficult decision recently and have decided to retire at the end of the school year. It was a very difficult decision, but one that I am coming to realize it is the right decision. I really feel it is time for someone new to take the helm at Horace May. I know I speak to the choir when I say Horace May is truly special; we have an unbelievable staff, people that really do care about children, staff that is knowledgable and willing to learn new methods and ways to teach our students. They put in their own time to ensure students receive what they need to know what they need to know and to feel good about themselves as learners and people! I want you to feel confident that your children are in the best school in our district and will continue to be in the best school!
Have a great summer with your children! And thank you for your support and kindness!
Please take a look at our school goals for the year for reading, math and social emotional development. We follow the district's strategic plan when making our goals.
Thank you so much for your help and support. We love your children and like you, want the very best for them. As always, please contact me if you have questions or concerns.
Thank you for sharing your children with us!
