Welcome to the PEM Girls Soccer site.
2025
Practice will begin for all teams on August 11th. August 11th - August 29th is referred to as preseason for those new to the program. Once school starts, I refer to that as the regular season.
Eligibility night is 8/7 at 6:30 pm in the Plainview High School Gym.
Keep watch for communication regarding baseline concussion testing. This is strongly recommended and a low cost when offered through the school.
A few important reminders:
Athletes are required to have a current physical on file with the athletic office before they are allowed to practice. Plan ahead, your athlete WILL NOT practice without a current physical on file by the first day of preseason practice.

Uniforms will only be given to those that are registered, and pictures are early this year, so don't wait!
Uniforms:
JH: a white jersey and a black jersey. Athletes are responsible to have their own black socks and black shorts.
JV/V: White jersey, black jersey, black shorts. Athletes are responsible to have their own black socks, and white socks.
All athletes are required to have shin guards and soccer cleats.
The game schedule is available on the activities page calendar. While unlikely, game schedules are subject to change.
Preseason practices will be held in Plainview unless noted otherwise. Field TBD.
Preseason evening practices (all teams):
8/11-8/15: 5-7 pm in Plainview
8/14: uniform distribution after practice 7-730pm players can leave once they have their uniform
8/18: team photos in Elgin - 3:30pm JV & V will practice after pictures until 5:45.
8/19: team pool party 4:50-5:50 at the Plainview Pool. Ice cream to follow at Jeff & Shelley Henry’s house. This is open to athletes only - no guests. A sign up will be sent out following eligibility night.
8/20: Practice 5-7 pm in Plainview
8/21: JH practice 5-7 pm, JV No practice, Varsity- game at Cannon Falls 4:30pm start. No bus information at this time.
8/22: all teams practice 5-7 pm
8/25-8/27: all teams practice 5-7 pm
8/28: all teams game at St. Charles No bus information at this time
8/29 & 9/1: No practice
Preseason morning practices (JV/V required, JH optional):
8/12-8/14, 8/18-8/20, 8/25-8/27 6-7 am Elgin
First day of the regular season
9/2: game at home vs Caledonia
Regular season practices
JH at the 4/6 fields in Elgin from 3:15-4:45 pm
JV/V in Plainview (field TBD) from 4:15-5:45 pm
