Accelerated Reader
Students in 5th grade are required to read accelerated reader novels. Each quarter, students need to earn the required accelerated reader points and read a minimum of two novels.
1st Quarter - 12 points
2nd Quarter - 14 points
3rd Quarter - 16 points
4th Quarter - 18 points
The website listed below will help students determine the possible point values for their AR novels. Please encourage your child to read at least 20 minutes each night to help meet his or her AR goal.
