Welcome to my third grade website!

I am in my 15th year here of teaching here at P.E.M. and this will be my second year teaching 3rd grade after teaching 1st grade for 11 years. I am excited to begin a new school year with your child. I look forward to learning more about your child during the school year.

About Me

I graduated from Zumbrota-Mazeppa High School in 2002. I attended MN State University-Mankato where I earned my Elementary Education degree. I taught one year at Willmar Public Schools as a building substitute. Otherwise I have spent most of my career here at PEM.

I am currently the head boys and girls golf coach.

My wife Ashley and I have two boys, Easton (9) who is in fourth grade and Harvey (6) who is in first grade. We reside in Elgin, MN.

I enjoy doing many things outside of school. I like to watch movies, spend time with family, ice fish, hunt, cook, golf, work out, coach, watch Minnesota sports and attending those sporting events.
