Mar 26: Verify competitor availability at ALL MSHSL tournaments. i.e. Do NOT register students that can not compete at State tournament due to scheduling conflicts.

• There are NO ALTERNATES for State

Mar 26 by 3:00 PM: Enter your qualifying speakers & pieces into Speechwire. Registration CLOSES for adds @ 3:00 PM.

• Please continue to take care of drops as they happen.

• Switching categories is prohibited after this deadline.

Mar 26 @ 3:00 PM: Invoice sent to your team

• Invoice amount is the required payment, regardless of registration changes after this date & time.

Mar 26: Contact your school's Business Manager to cut & mail payment

• Write check to : JWP High School

• BRING PAYMENT TO TOURNAMENT.

• IF you mail payment, it must be received prior to April 11!

• If payment is not received when you check your team in for the tournament on April 11, your team forfeits the right to compete in the Section Speech Tournament.

Apr 4: Verify Worker Schedule sent by Tournament Director. This can also be found on the Section 2A website.

• Prepare your workers for their duties. This is YOUR responsibility.

• Any roles that are NOT timers or readers will need to be filled by preferably either a head or assistant coach, or an adult (not a college student)

Apr 4 : Submit the Community Standards Form via your MSHSL coaches' login. Contact your AD if you need assistance.

Apr 9: Verify competitor eligibility for MSHSL tournament

• Grade reports are out, please double check eligibility

• Speechwire will close for DROPS, please send drops via email to Tournament Director, Jessie Oelke as soon as they happen.

Apr 11 by 10:00: Contact attendance secretary to verify competitor attendance in school

• Please finalize any additional DROPS with Tournament Director, Jessie Oelke

Apr 11 by noon: Complete the Final Round Qualifier Form (google form) for all your students competing at Sections

• Form will be sent via email to all Section 2A coaches on Friday, April 4

• Form can also be found on the Section 2A website

Apr 11 @ 2:45: Check your team into the tournament.

Apr 11 @ 3:45: Please join other Section coaches in the Coaches' Lounge; tournament will now follow schedule set by Tournament Director
