Cory Jewison

Hello

I have been teaching since 2013. I taught kindergarten for five years and second grade for one year. in Shakopee. I am excited for a great school year and watch the children grow socially and academically. I love watching the students figure out they 'know' something because you see the light bulb go on and their faces light up.

We will be using Math Expressions, VOWAC, and a little bit of Wonders for our curriculum. We will be using Seesaw for the main communication between myself and parents as well as students to parents.

I am originally from Waseca. I graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato in the fall of 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. In 2016 I graduated with my Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning. When I am not teaching, you can probably catch me at some sort of sporting event.
